All tables for Saturday and Sunday are sold out.

If you'd like to be added to the waitlist for Saturday and/or Sunday, please let us know in your registration for Friday or by email (if you have already registered for Friday).

CHANGES IN TABLING REGISTRATION FOR 2009 (READ CAREFULLY)

Table registration is PER DAY: Attendees are able to register for one day, two days, or all three days.

Table registration is a $5 donation for a half table per day or a $10 donation for a full table per day: So, a full table for three days would be a $30 donation, or you could do a half table for three days for a $15 donation, or you could do a full table for two days and a half for one day for a $25 donation, etc.

Full table registration will be limited to 30 of the 90 tables: If you are planning to register for a full table this year, please keep this in mind and give us a detailed explanation as to why you'd prefer a full table when you register online. Not all table registrations will be approved, As full table registration will be limited to make sure PZS is more inclusive, so please DO NOT MAKE YOUR FULL TABLE DONATION UNTIL YOUR FULL TABLE REGISTRATION HAS BEEN CONFIRMED AND APPROVED.

Please register ONLINE: Even if you're mailing in your donation for a table, PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE so that we have your info and you don't end up getting waitlisted.

Tabling will be held in the Ballroom at Smith Memorial Center, PSU Campus on July 24, 25 & 26.

  • Half tables measure 3 ft x 2 ft and are available for individuals and are reserved for a $5 per day donation. 

  • Full tables measure 6 ft x 2 ft and are available for distributors, publishers, organizations, groups, or individuals with a lot of zines for a $10 per day deposit.

In order keep the Portland Zine Symposium focused on zines and to maintain the DIY spirit of the Portland Zine Symposium, at least 51% of merchandise at any table must be handmade zines and/or independently published materials, with some exception for zine oriented nonprofits and literature (i.e. mass-published books) or supplies used for DIY/art projects.

PZS asks that you only register up to ONE full table per person / organization. This will help us ensure that we have more room for everyone, thank you for understanding as we try to keep PZS as diverse and inclusive as possible.

Once you have filled out the online registration form, you will receive an e-mail to confirm that your table request has been received and there are still tables available. At this time, you will be asked to mail in your donation or pay via PayPal. Once again, if you are registering for a full table, please wait until you've received your approval for your request for a full table from the organizers. Also, we would love non-monetary donations for our raffle (like a copy of your zine, or art, or anything fun) and will have a box for these donations at the Symposium.

Donations must be made in the form of a check, money order, or via Paypal (we really prefer Paypal). If you must make a donation with cash, please do so in person or mail it inside the registration form. Cancellations must be made by June 26, 2009 for a refund.
