This is my second year.
How did you get involved? / What attracted you to this job?
The symposium feels to me like a big potluck or birthday party for the things I love the most about Portland. AND I've never been. Who wants to miss out on a zine potluck eight years in a row? AND my sister is friends with Blue and one morning we accidentally had breakfast together and I thought, "DAMN it sounds cool to organize such an event."
What do you do for PZS?
I coordinate the venue through PSU. I'm a liason of sorts.
Favorite parts of the event?
The absurd volume of new things to look at!
Age, and anything you'd like to say about your self...
21 years old, finally. I love Portland. It's finally my home and not just a new place I live. I live with 8 people at 2 cats in a former old-folks home. I spend the winters hiding in a bedroom-cave with yellow walls, geeking out on school and writing letters. Spring will now find me on the front porch trying not to get sunburned.
